We believe, the strength behind our firm’s work remains in our passion for comfortable, custom elegance. The integration of beautifully tailored furnishings within eloquently proportioned and detailed architecture is the signature of our work. A boundless pursuit to integrate well-designed spaces with properly curated furnishings delivers timeless rooms of comfort and discrete luxury. Beautiful rooms paired with rich textures, a neutral palette of color and a sophisticated combination of new and antique furnishings are the result of a collaborative partnership with our clients, who are as singular and unique as the spaces we create together.

As a classically trained architect and highly experienced designer of decorative interiors, Mr. Ballard has served as lead architect and design partner on an extensive number of versatile projects from comprehensive apartment renovations to country estates, casual beach houses and equestrian farms to new coastal communities and several private resorts. He has worked extensively with Manhattan’s premiere building cooperatives, within environmentally sensitive coastal settings, expansive agricultural lands, planned towns and beachside resorts. Mr. Ballard’s professional work experience over the past twenty-five years has included comprehensive architectural, land planning, interior design and project management across the United States and the Caribbean. Stylistically informed by history, the focus of his work continues to be the integration of both architecture and decorative furnishings at the highest level of design and efficiency for his firm’s clients. A few of Mr. Ballard’s recently completed projects include an apartment combination and decorative furnishings at The Majestic, a penthouse renovation on Manhattan’s Upper Westside, a ranch in Aspen, Colorado and over a dozen custom pieces of furniture constructed in Europe. Over the past two and a half decades, Mr. Ballard has worked with the industry’s leading artisans, builders and consultants to create world-class projects of a variety of scales, styles and settings. Our firm’s current assignments include the preservation and expansion of a historic 1845 farm in the Tennessee Valley, the architectural renovation and decorative furnishings of several Manhattan apartments, a multilevel rooftop garden and a Bermudan beachfront compound certified by IBHS along the Gulf of Mexico’s emerald coast.

Prior to establishing the architectural and interior design firm, Mr. Ballard was a partner and studio lead at Cooper, Robertson & Partners following an initial architectural practice in the neoclassical town of Seaside, Florida, where he both designed and constructed numerous private residences within the internationally acclaimed beachside community.
